NorseCraft Texture Pack
This is a great looking texture pack made by LordTrilobites and its 16×16, it works for 1.2.5. It gives minecraft a great viking feel, especially when it comes to villages. Check out these screenshots and download it if you like it. 
World of Minecraft Texture Pack
Heres the First one Its Called the World of Minecraft texture pack and it was created by AV3S0M3. Its 16×16 so you can download and use it directly from the minecraft client. And its for minecraft 1.2 so you can use it for the current game version.

how do you put a texture pack onto your minecraft. i really want to get a texture pack! Thanks
you drop the jar file in C:\Users\david\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks
from blake at your menu with singleplayer . ECT 3rd one down click on this press. open texture pack folder. it will not open if you have a mac
radical but suckish at the same time.
